Domestic Shipping (Within Nepal)
1. Ready-to-Wear (RTW) Collections
- Delivery Areas: We deliver to all major locations within Nepal.
- Delivery Timeline:
- Inside Kathmandu Valley: Delivered within 24 to 48 hours from order confirmation.
- Outside Kathmandu Valley: Delivered within 3 to 5 business days depending on your location.
- Shipping Cost: Complimentary. House of SR provides free delivery for all Ready-to-Wear items within Nepal.
- Payment on Delivery: Cash on Delivery (COD) and Fonepay/QR on delivery options are available strictly for orders placed within the Kathmandu Valley.
2. Domestic Bespoke Orders
- Timeline: Crafting a bespoke garment takes between 8 to 16 weeks, depending on the scale and complexity of your commission.
- Fulfillment: Once your final fitting is complete at our Lalitpur atelier and the garment passes our quality inspection, you can choose to pick it up in person or have it hand-delivered securely to your address.
International Shipping (Bespoke Commissions Only)
We proudly offer our premier Virtual Bespoke service to clients worldwide. We partner exclusively with world-class, trusted global couriers like DHL and FedEx to ensure your custom garments arrive quickly and safely.
1. The Virtual Bespoke Shipping Process
To guarantee a flawless fit from afar, your commission involves two to three separate shipments:
- Shipment 1 (The Fitting Garment): Once your measurements are taken virtually, we craft and ship a fitting garment (toile) to your home. This allows us to host your live video-call fitting consultation.
- Shipment 2 (The Final Garment): After making any necessary pattern adjustments based on your trial fitting, we craft and ship your final, completed masterpiece.
2. Timelines, Costs, & Taxes
- Overall Timeline: Because of the detailed handcrafting process and the mid-point trial fitting, please allow 8 to 16 weeks from your initial measurement consultation to the delivery of your final garment.
- Shipping Cost: Calculated transparently at checkout based on your destination country.
- DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Guarantee: To ensure a truly seamless luxury experience, all international shipments are sent on a DDP basis. This means House of SR covers all international import duties, customs clearances, and local taxes upfront. You will face no hidden fees or customs delays when your package arrives at your doorstep.
General Shipping Policies
Order Tracking
As soon as any package leaves our atelier (whether it is a domestic RTW order, an international trial garment, or your final bespoke piece), you will receive an automated email and SMS notification containing a tracking link so you can follow its journey in real time.
Restricted Shipping Destinations
House of SR complies strictly with international trade laws, courier constraints, and global sanctions. Consequently, we cannot deliver packages to regions where international shipping is legally prohibited or temporarily suspended due to active conflict zones (such as North Korea, Syria, or Iran). If an order is inadvertently placed from a restricted region, it will be flagged, cancelled, and immediately refunded.
